let me recap the learning material of my english class this week.

article recap:
in 1938, there was a radio play about a series of news bulletins of alien attack in usa. the radio listeners were convinced that the martians were invading usa and fled their homes. when they found the radio play didn't report the real news, they were trying to sue the radio station. however, the director of the radio programme was able to avoid the lengthy court case because he had told that the broadcast was not true at the beginning of the programme. amazingly, the same story happened in 1944 when the play was broadcast in chile. the governor of the city even sent troops into the streets. fortunately, they didn't need to fight an army of martian invaders.
